When trying to run Secretary's Helper version 4 for the first time, a message box is displayed which says you need to install a runtime library for Access database.

Download and install the 2013 32-bit Microsoft Access database runtime library from the Microsoft site.

When installing the program or when trying to do an update to a newer build of the program, you get a system error with the key phrase "Access is Denied"

Diagnosis:
Your Virus Scanner is blocking the installation of the update. To date, this has been most prevalent with Symantec/Norton products.
 
Remedy:
In the settings/options of the virus scanner, add the Secretary's Helper setup file as an exclusion/exception.

Printing the preprinted cardboard Grand Lodge of Alberta Dues Cards, I find that they seem to have shrunk vertically. The top one fits but then they seem to move up the page about 1/16" a card.

Diagnosis:
It appears to be printing with the sizing on your printer set (or defaulting) to "Fit". In theory, this fits the item being printed onto your printer output.
 
Remedy:
Print to your printer using the sizing "Actual".

I am unable to send emails from within the Secretary's Helper application using a GMail server (GMail servers are also used as the sender for some Telus accounts)

Diagnosis:
GMail is using an unique (enhanced security) protocol for sending mail.
 
Remedy:
At the current time, no full remedy has been implemented in Secretary's Helper but there is a simple workaround. Click HERE to access the workaround instructions.
